Both yes and no. I fix anything that’s temporary (blemishes, flyaway, dark circles) and also remove background distractions to polish the images off. However, I do not change the shape of your face or body. I want your images to look like you. 

YOU CAN PHOTOSHOP THAT, RIGHT?

No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain or some other weather catastrophe, I’ll be in touch to reschedule and offer the soonest available session dates. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

HECK YEAH! Friends can be SO MUCH FUN to have on locations! Many times, they help you to relax and forget that there’s a camera there. All I ask if you limited it to 1 to 2 people. 

Can my friend/parent/partner come to my shoot?

Professional hair and makeup is truly the foundation to a killer photoshoot and I HIGHLY recommended hiring your favorite professional. You are welcome DIY. I do not offer free reshoots for bad makeup. 

Can I do my own hair and makeup?

When you book your session, I’ll send you a link with tons of information about how to prepare for your photo shoot, including beauty tips (guys, this goes for you, too!), wardrobe inspiration, and a list of what to bring.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY SHOOT?

You might feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I guide your through posing and facial expressions, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun.
